Would this be good for YouTubing?

I wanna start a channel on YouTube of me cycling around. I only have my iPhone 6 for recording so I'm going to get a chest mount for it and wear it when I'm cycling, I planned on just shooting a video of me cycling and then throwing some music on it and putting it on YouTube. Does this sound like a good idea to get into youtubing as a hobby?

Ya, it sounds good but I think putting the camera on your helmet would be much better. From there, the views would be more clear and if possible go for GoPro cameras because they make cameras for this purpose only and moreover you will get crystal clear video.
All the best for your TouTube Channel.

It could be nice for people to see some clips of your more scenic routes and interesting finds, but i wouldnt put up the entirety of your ride as that gets boring quickly.

Sure? You could also record your trip on two devices side by side and make split screen videos which people can watch with 3D viewers.

It sounds kind of boring to me, but I'm not into cycling. If you rode in interesting places, yes, but only hardcore cyclists would even care, and they probably want to see edgy, exciting things, like this.

Do some test shots. I suspect the video will be un-watchable because of vibration. A helmet mount would be better so you can scan around and get more than a over-the-handle-bar shots.

I'm not sure this would be entertaining. Even if you solve the poor video and audio problems. Who is your audience? What story are you telling? Successful channels know their audience.

But do the test shots. You can do a LOT with a simple smart phone, audio and video editing. Whatever skills you learn can be used for many different topics.

You won't get any views for this niche unless you do interesting content/bike stunt. So far, the only successful niche on hobby i see is surfing.

1 shot angle will be boring. You need to get drone/follow drone.

Another factor you may considered is the image stabilizer And the recording capacity of the phone.

This is a good idea, but maybe make a biking Vlog video?

I'm finding the games I have been recently playing to be boring me (or burnt out of playing them from playing them so much) and I need some new games to play. I currently own a Xbox 360, a Wii, an iPhone, and a PC that also has a Game Boy Advance and Super NES emulator on it. As of late, I have been playing: Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Pokémon Snakewood Mario Super Sluggers MLB 2K12 Super Smash Bros. Brawl Wii Sports
  • What would be a good iphone 4/4s (Amazon) to be a good test dummy? So I want to try to replace a iphone screen, and since the iphone 4/4s would be a good candidate, since it's hard to replace its screen, I would use one of them. But since I have a phone that's in Like New condition (been in a otterbox in addition to screen protectors) I don't want to use it. Can some one help me find a good phone to test on?
