Would you call it as a rude behavior which occurred to me at 7/11 in BKK?

I went to this 7/11 shop in BKK for my breakfast.

I picked up this "tuna sandwich" and gave it to the working girl at the cash counter for toasting it since it was frozen. Cost 27 baht (point to be noted.)

I got busy on my iphone. The lady kept standing there and staring at me.

Then, I asked her what happened. Why were she not toasting it?

She said "money first then she would toast it".

Really?

I'm a foreigner if I could afford my air ticket then of course I could afford to pay 27 THB.

I felt embarrassed, to be honest, by this incident. I felt like I was poor and could not pay 27 THB.

Your thoughts, please.

Yes, I would call it bad behavior on your part. She will have to open the product and microwave it for you. You pay in advance and she will do it. She could wave it and you decide you don't want it and walk out. Here you go with this attitude that you are better than the locals just because you have money. You should be a shame of yourself.

I do this all the times. I pick a sandwich and just hand it to them.Then, I would go pick other stuff and pay for them along with the sandwich they toasted. Maybe because I'm a local and the shop keepers have no problem communicate with me, so they tend to loose the rules. If you're in front of the cash counter, they may assume that you're ready to pay.

But my phone screen is still stuck on this particular screen with the logo and progress bar. What do I do to fix this?
