Would you give your child an IPhone 5S?
If so, or if not, why?
It depends on how old the child is.
You don't must to give him the most updated iphone, if hes a child you can buy 5c even iphone 4s is really good.
I prefer android but its no matter.
But what age you mean child, 8? 10? If one of them don't but him a iphone its useless.
for phone and stuff buy him a normal phone.
And for games but a family tablet that will be for all the family.
I don't really want my kid to have any phone until she's in her older teen years. 16 or so. I got my first phone when I was 16 or 17. I survived my childhood without one. My daughter does have an iPad, but I control what is on it and how often she uses it. I'm okay with technology and children, but I really don't see a reason why a very young child needs a phone.
No way. I don't have a child but I know I wouldn't spoil them. Why? Because what type of kid has the IPhone5c or s? All my future child need is a little old android phone and she's ok Lol.
No, I wouldn't just "give" it to them. I wouldn't let them get a contract phone at all, actually, until they're 18 and can get one themselves. This is because if they get disinterested with it, they still have to pay for it until the contract is up. I would let them get a prepaid phone if they earned the money themselves (be it with a job or saved with their allowance) and then they could do as they please with it.
My 14 year old twins have iPhone's but I wouldn't go out and buy them the latest. They got their's for their birthday back in January. I wouldn't buy them a phone as expensive as the one they each have in a hurry again as my son doesn't really use his all that much. I'd recommend purchasing an iPhone for a child over 16 but no younger. It's just money spent for the fun of it. I must of paid £300 on those two phones. I like how my daughter uses hers to contact people and isn't on it 24/7 like her friends but as I say with my son it feels like I wasted my time and my husband hates to spend money so it gets him agitated all the time, which isn't good because I spend too much already.
All the best, Emma.
A phone is a phone if they allready have a touch screen phone no reason to get them one hardly any differnce make them pay for it
GIVE? Haha never. WORK FOR IT. I would consider. And they'd need a reason to actually have the phone and it depends on how old as well.
- Would you sell your child (if you had one) for the latest iPhone? It seems the anticipation for an iPhone got too much for one couple in China, who have been accused of selling their young daughter so they could afford to buy one of the desirable devices. Sounds fair enough to me. It is sad, i couldn't do it. @ Too Awesome, True, some guy did sell his Kidney for the latest iPad.
- When you give APPLE a defective IPHON do they give you a reconditioned one back? My IPHONE had a defect, still under warranty, so I took it to an Apple MAC store and after a few days they gave it back, supposedly repaired. Now the replaced IPHONE has a problem, different than the previous problem I'm now having a problem with the taking a photo. Do they just replace your phone with a reconditioned one they say no but?
- What would you do if you were watching your favorite show, and your 20 year old kid turned off the TV so that you couldn't watch it? I pay all the bills at the house. I normally watch AHS once a week with my kid. This week, she told me to go watch it in my own room. I told her my TV wasn't working and we would just have to watch it in her room. She turned off the TV so that I couldn't watch it. Then, she pompously pulled out her iPhone and proceeded to watch it on her iPhone. What would you do if this happened to you?
- Is it possible to see the text messages that your child receives? My girlfriend has Verizon, and she has an iphone. Her parents say they can read her texts. However, can they not read the texts i send her? I'd think that would be a no, but i'm not sure. She is 17 at the moment. Remember, the texts she receives.
