Buying 100 IPhone cases from China to the UK. Any tax costs?
I'm going to buy 100 cases made to fit the iPhone 5 from china. They are posting it to the UK. But before i buy anything i was just wandering what tax costs (if any) are there going to be for these cases. ***Note the iPhone cases do not have any logos on it so there's no copyright infringement.***
See UK Government guidance below.

20% import VAT + £8 or so VAT collection fee, + possible duty depending on total value.
- Should any tax plan that lowers rates for corporations only give that rate for companies who do business and employ workers in the USA? So, Trump Inc, who manufactures ties in China, gets no tax cut. Neither does Apple because the iPhone is made in China too.
- Monthly iPhone costs for AT&T? Does the price per month change when you upgrade to a new iphone model? Like if i upgrade from a 3GS to a 5, aside from the cost of the phone would the price per month change or not?
- Is there any import tax/duty on sending an iphone 4 to Canada from Australia? I just got given an iphone 4 and I want to give to my girlfriend who now lives in Canada, will either of us have to pay any sort of import tax or duty on it? It's a gift if that helps. If so, how much?
- Is the turbo tax tax caster app accurate? I downloaded the turbo tax, tax caster app for my iPhone. I earned 15k this year, and I'm claiming one child this year (I didn't claim a child last year). When I plugged in my info and hit calculate, it told me my refund would be 7k. Could this be accurate? I've heard of a earned income credit but this seems like a lot more than I expected. Is this app accurate?
