Does your iPhone have to be on to track it?
I recently lost my phone at a football game, I tried to call it and it goes strait to voicemail. I've also tried the app called "find my iPhone" but it says my phone is offline and could not find it's location.

- When you sync your iphone to your computer does it copy everything onto your pc? I have broke my iphone to the point where it is un repairable, i only sync my iphone the other day to my pc does this mean everything what was on my iphone was copied and saved to it? Or have i lost everything?
- Leaving your 4G on your iPhone 4s at all times won't waste your data right? I leave it on all the time and my plan is 300 MB and I was wondering if I had this on at all times and I don't use the web or anything I just leave my phone alone, it doesn't waste my data right? Very much appreciated!
- Is there an iphone app that keeps track of the location of your phone? Sort of like "Find my iPhone" except it updates your location while it's on. The problem with "Find my Iphone" is that it only works when your phone is on, so if your phone is dead and lost your screwed. If the phone kept updating its location until it was dead, it would help me find it… I don't mind being tracked, I'm sure Apple is tracking my location anyways.
- If you track your stolen iphone will the police retrieve it for you? My iphone was stolen last night its yet to be turned on but using the find my iphone app i should be able to find the address, the problem is that the whoever took it is not going to willingly give it back, and the people i have an idea of who took it are quite intimidating, thank you.
