Don't you hate it when people text?

I don't know about you but every time I see people glued to their phone and spend their time texting and on Facebook, it drives me crazy! I don't want to be a hypocrite because I do that too at times when I'm in public and have nothing to do but I at least put my phone away at times and just relax without pervasively texting! It drives me crazy that nowadays, every time I go on a elevator, or make eye contact with people (especially girls), they have their eyes to the phone and are just constantly texting without even socializing with people and I find it extremely rude and annoying! It's like people nowadays are anti-social because of the invention of stupid iphones where you text and use Facebook! Do you find this annoying? Even in school, I can't even talk to anyone and make friends because everyone is glued to their phone and are anti-social these days! Back in the days, everyone was social!

I don't care about other people. I suggest you get a life

Live and let live, my friend. I don't like it when people are judgemental of others in harsh ways. I hate when selfies are harshly criticized especially. It's not hurting anyone. Don't assume everyone should live like you. Tolerance is a virtue.

I don't really care unless they're doing it while they're hanging out with me. Like no, you asked to come over and talk and you're not even looking at me or replying?

Yup, I do… Did you hear about the woman who's back tire of a bus ran over her head because she dropped her cell phone and wanted to retrieve it from the bottom of the bus? Sad way to die for a stupid phone. People should value their life instead of that of their stupid phones.

Yes, it drives me crazy. Even crazier because I walk with a cane and have been nearly knocked down by some young person texting and not watching where they are going.

But I'm older - I didn't realize it drives younger people crazy as well. Seems all younger people do it.

Back in my days - there was no such thing and kids had to talk to each other's faces. And even leave the house to be with friends. I think people are going to evolve into having 3 hands - one just to carry the phone around. Until they find a way to implant some kind of chip at birth. Just keep trying to make friends - in person. Hopefully you will find some who are not so attached to a plastic device. I also believe this is why so many young people are out here complaining about depression and anxiety and all of the stuff that comes from being alone all the time. Anxiety is not a new thing for this generation. Everyone had anxiety when I was a kid. The cure was to face it, learn new things, be social. Now it seems it's used as an excuse - as in "can't get a job - have anxiety".

I feel the same way, i just got a new job and i can't make new friends cause they sit there on break glued to their phones
