Dropped my iphone in he toilet now it's in rice?
So I dropped my iphone in the toilet 2 nights ago and I immediately put it in a bag of rice. I know that you're suppose to turn off the phone first but I couldn't because my screen wasn't working and I couldn't turn it off. At first the screen stayed on for a couple hours then it turned off. It's been like that ever since in the rice the whole time and it won't turn back on. Does this mean it's done? Or is there anything I can do please help
You can try to charge it up and see if it works. Do it on a heat resistant surface just in case.
Rice won't suck out the water that is inside the phone where all the damage has been done. It's time to buy a new phone.
- I dropped my iPhone in the toilet and put it in rice I took it out of the rice about 45 minutes later and tried to turn it on but then it start to sizzle does that mean it's done?
- I dropped my IPhone in the toilet, and now my home button doesn't work? 2 days ago I dropped my IPhone 4 in the toilet, and pulled it out right away. I dried it off quickly and it was perfectly fine and nothing was wrong. But then last night, my home button started to not work unless I pressed it 10+ times… I have the accessible touch thing on, but I was wondering if could fix this myself?
- Dropped my iPhone in toilet, put it in rice, started working the. It turns off again? I've heard I can get a new iPhone for free at the apple store. My friend got here for free. Anyways when the phone was on, there was blue lines on the screen. So will I get it for free or? Btw I still have warranty
- Dropped my IPhone 6s in the toilet yesterday, now it's going crazy So yesterday I dropped my 4 month old iPhone 6s in the toilet (don't ask), took off the case and cleaned it. Everything was fine for about 10 minutes, and then some very faint horizontal lines showed up. Then, the screen spazzed out, and so I put it in rice and didn't charge it. Today it died so I plugged it in and now it says to restore it, and the screen is going crazy. What should I do?
