How long to keep iphone in rice?
I dropped my iPhone in the toilet this morning around 6:45. I picked it up right away, but it was probably submerged in the water for 1-3 seconds. When I pressed the home button it immediately turned off. I shook it out a lot, and dried it with a towel for a minute or so. Then I put it in a sealed bag full of rice. It's been in the bag all day. I'm wondering if it matters how long the iPhone stays in the rice? Usually people say around 24 hours, but that's when it got really wet. Mine really wasn't that wet at all. It's been about 8 hours… How much longer should I wait before I charge it and then turn it on?
