How long should I keep my iPhone in rice after water damage?
About 3 hours ago, I dropped my phone in the bath tub. Within half a second I got it out, dried it and put it in rice. It does turn out but it also is spastic. How long should I keep it in rice or is there a better way I can fix this?
Added (1). On* not out.
1 hour
I have heard it works so i would try it
I did this to the phone i dropped in the toilet while drunk and while it seemed to be a few seconds we all know drunk time is really slow. I did the instructions in the link below maybe 3 times and my phone worked right ever since. You can buy little screwdrivers at a dollartree store
- I put my iPhone in rice after water damage but it's still overheating? My iPhone 4 was only submerged in the water for a matter of seconds, but I dried it up as much as I could and then took it home and put it in a bag of dry rice for 3 days. I then turned it on and put it on charge, but it'll only charge up to 11% before overheating. If I put the phone back in the bag of rice for another couple of days do you think this issue will be solved?

- How long should i put my iPhone in rice after water Damage? I had my phone in my pocket and without noticing i jumped in my pool with my buddies, I stayed in there for about 1:30 minutes and I got out of the pool immediately and tried to turn it off but my iphone didn't respond so I took the SIM out and dried it and placed it on a bag of rice with silica gel packs. How long should i keep it there? Or should I call a repair company?
- How long should I leave my iphone in rice for? (water damage)? So I dropped my phone in water today, it was only in there for about 5 or ten seconds before I took it out. The screen started flickering and turned off. About an hour and a half later when I got home I put it in rice. How long should I leave it there for?
