How to put your number on twitter?
I have an iPhone 4S and I want my notifications to come through my phone, please help

The official Twitter for iPhone app is an extremely easy app to use.
It also has wicked fast push notifications.
But if you're receiving far too many (or none at all),
there are a few settings to play with that allow you to customize what you get notified about.
1. Launch Twitter for iPhone and from your main timeline, tap Accounts in the upper left hand corner.
2. You'll see a list of all your Twitter accounts, in the bottom left corner, tap Settings.
3. Then tap Notifications under the account you'd like to adjust notifications for.
4. You can now choose to receive push notifications for direct messages and mentions.
For mentions, you can choose to receive them from only people you follow, or from anyone.
I typically choose from anyone. (That's how you find cool new followers!)
5. You're done! But as a side note, also make sure you have Twitter push enabled under Settings, Notifications in your iPhone's main settings as well.

- Twitter SMS & Twitter App Mobile Notifications? I have and Iphone 4, currently up to date, etc etc. When I turn on mobile notifications on twitter I receive both the SMS/404-04 text notification and a push notification from my twitter mobile app. I would prefer to receive the notifications from my app only and not SMS. It would be easier to distinguish tweet from normal texts. Plus The SMS notifications leave my texts list messy. I can't figure out how to do this anywhere. Solutions?
- Twitter app keeps giving me false number of notifications on Iphone 5s? Its been happening for a few weeks now, I see other people have had this happen before but they said it was fixed a few days go, but I'm still experiencing it on my phone, when I exit out of the app, there's always a number with the red bag icon on the Twitter app, even though I checked it. And i use twitter.before i got my ohone i just had the twitter notifications to the people i was subscribed to sent to my phone. But i still use that but it sends me notifications too directly from twitter and i just want my texts. But how do i turn off the notifications without turning off my texts.
