I dropped my iphone in a cup of water but it didn't submerge. How long in rice?
Only the bottom up to the home button got wet. I dried it off with bounty and then kept inserting pieces of the paper towel into the charger area and the speakers to try and get out any excess. The phone didn't power itself down after it got wet so I just left it on because I didn't want to touch anything and break it. Then I put it in rice. How long should I leave it in there?
The Asians should arrive in less than 24hrs. I've tried it snd it's in the company's policy.
Until it works. Leave it overnight and try in the morning. If it doesn't work, repeat.
If it is not wet in the inside and still works, try putting it in the sun for an hour or two and you should be fine.
I would say start with 1-2 hours, if it doesn't work properly leave it in overnight or for a day or two.
- Water logged iphone? How long do I leave it in rice? My iphone SE was sitting in a big puddle on the counter for about 15 min before I noticed. The phone was still in working condition but had a few dark and blurry spots on the screen. I went to get rice and the spots seemed to have spread. I put rice in a ziplock bag and completely covered my phone in the rice. The bag was sealed and I'm wondering how long I need to leave the phone inside? I need to use my phone the next day and I'm not sure if it will be alright.
