IPhone being sent from a different country?
I won a giveaway.
it was an iPhone 5 and some other things
but it's being sent from America to Australia, will it work?
I know that some people have bought an iPhone 5 in America and then it not working in Australia - it not picking up any reception etc
is this true?
Don't know about reception but as long as it is unlocked from a US network for use on an Aussie carrier and the serial number (IMEI) is valid and not fried, this should work. Best luck.
As long as it is an unlocked GSM edition, it should work anywhere in the world. If someone bought a phone in US that doens't work in Australia, they probably bought a CDMA edition, which is locked to a specific US carrier.
- Will my iPhone 5 work in a different country? It's an iPhone 5, and I live in NZ. We're going on a trip to America for a couple of weeks, and I don't know if my phone will work. I don't care if I can't text or make phone calls, or about roaming or whatever with Vodafone. I just want to make sure I can use Wi-Fi like usual. Obviously the camera and iPod parts will work? - My sent folder is not showing all the emails I have sent. Why is this happening? This seems to be random, with some showing and others not. Since Thursday, nothing I've sent out is in the sent folder. More worrying, on my iPhone, the entire sent folder has been emptied.
