Trojan virus from iPhone USB driver?
Earlier i plugged my iPhone 5 into my computer and it didn't connect, I then got a warning message from AVG saying their is a possible threat, so I scanned my entire computer and It found a couple of virus so I got rid of them and then I tried plugging in my phone again and nothing happened again so I went to my device settings and it said that It needed troubleshooting so I did and it then said their was no driver so I pressed apply fix and it searched for the driver and then installed it but as soon as it finished I got the same massage again saying that their is a possible threat detected. It seems the virus is coming from the USB driver for my iPhone 5, why is that? Can anyone help please I don't no what to do, I can't connect my phone to my computer because of it please help!
Maybe it's a false alarm.
Download the norton app and scan your phone… My guess is that you have some autorun malware… I'm assuming they have it for iphones since it is readily available for free in the google play store.
- Why is Apple so keen to push USB-C with their Macbooks but they don't include USB-C on the iPhone? It seems like the Macbook department at Apple thinks USB Type C is the best thing since sliced bread but the iPhone department thinks USB Type C is work of the devil.
- If an iPhone somehow got a virus, what would stop that virus from spreading to the recovery image? If an iPhone got a virus, couldn't it just spread to the recovery image? I don't mean where you connect the iPhone to your computer and restore through iTunes. I mean the restore image that is actually on the iPhone.
- I have a iPhone and my safari froze when a pop up asked me to call this number to get rid of a virus so I don't know if I have a virus or no? So today I was looking for music online and this pop up came up and froze my browser and it asked me to call this number but I didn't and hit cancel and cleared my history and I restarted my phone cause it acted slow so I don't know if I have a virus or not
