Where to buy iphone 5 now thats it is discontinued?
I know you're probably thinking, just get the phone from AT&T (that's my carrier) but I can't use my upgrade (my sister used my upgrade to get an iphone 5s).Is there any way I can get a iphone 5, 5s, or 5C (I don't want a 4s because I have an I phone 4, which is basically the samething). I checked on eBay and amazon but the iPhones are much higher than getting it at AT&T. So where can I get a decent iphone 5, 5C, or 5s for a decent price.
Added (1). If I do decide to get the iPhone 5, what should be acceptable price range to buy it in?
If you want a new phone, the cheapest would be the 5C.
If you want a used one, look on eBay; I'm sure there are a fair number of 5's available used after people upgraded to the 5S.
If you buy a used phone, make sure it's an AT&T phone so that it'll be sure to work with your carrier.
And buy from a legit place like eBay or cowboom.com etc… Avoid Craigslist since you could end up with a phone that was stolen and can't be activated.
The AT&T price you are likely comparing is the contract cost vs the phone as it is without a contract what you are seeing on eBay. That's how it is.
I don't know off hand what prices iPhone 5's call these days but you should be able to get an average based on the prices.
- Will the iphone 4 be discontinued soon? I'm willing to purchase an iphone 4, but I've called many shops and they said that they've stopped selling the iphone 4 and only had the iphone 4s and iphone 5 in store. I'm not so keen on buying the iphone 4 if its going to be discontinued in a couple of months. Is it about time that shops stopped selling the iphone 4, as it came out in 2010, and there are 2 newer phones after this?
- Will the discontinued iphone 5 be able to update ios versions? I have an iphone 5 and i'm about to upgrade depending on the answer to this question. I know that apple has discontinued the iphone 5, but does ghat mean i won't be able to upgrade to ios 7.1 or ios 8 when they come out? And if i upgrade to the 5c will that be able to ios 8?
- Why was the iPhone 5 discontinued? I was going to go get one as an upgrade from my iPhone 4S but when I went there the only phones on display were the iPhone 4S, iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s. I asked one of the workers & she told me that there are none in stock. I then asked her when they would be back in stock and she replied "Probably never because the iPhone 5 was discontinued by Apple." When I asked her why she said that she doesn't know. Why did they discontinue a great phone?

My iphone 5 broke, and since apple discontinued the iphone 5 would they give me a different phone or do they still make them for those who need replacements? I have insurance i'm just wondering whether it would be replaced or not.
