Why are apple products so restricted?

Well i bought an iphone like 2 years back but i had no idea that apple products would be so limited

there's no Bluetooth sharing with other phones
other applications can't access your songs and more
in some countries some of the features are blocked
like in UAE they have just kicked out facetime from all the apple products
and some more reasons

these are the main reasons i can't think of buying a new apple product because it is too restricted
why have they kept it so restricted
this is irritating about apple >.<

Because it helps users to be safe
because it allows Apple to bring fixes to users all at once

i know it is all headache but it is alot safer than Android

Its a way for apple to keep a really consistent, easy, user friendly experience. If you want ANY sort of control over a device, apple is the last place you want to be.

as for the region blocking of some features, that is pretty standard. Us over here in the USA is great, we get everything because these are US companies… But some places get blocked for different reasons… Most usually coming down to DRM or Licensing issues. It sucks, but its not just apple. I would check to see if Google is any different. I know their play store is pretty limited outside of the US.

That is why real tech people avoid Apple products.

I like it, its also why there are no viruses on iphones, so its great not having to deal with that garbage.

  • Why are iPhones so restricted? Ip don't get me wrong it a great phone, an awesome phone, but it has so many restrictions. -you can't Bluetooth with any device, not even idevises -u can't download anything from safari… Anyways please give an answer based on facts, I mean you pay so much and you are stil restricted, why can't they have this option that if you turn it off it lets you download stuff from safari.
  • Why are apple products so overpriced? I'm never paying $300+ for an iPhone This is one of the many reasons capitalism is going to fail
  • Why are apple products so expensive? It's all repetitive. There's no 'new innovative technology'. Apple just adds stuff they purposely did not add to the previous model just to get more sales. Just like the iPhone 4s. They could have easily gotten 4g LTE connection, but it does not and that is going to be one of the 'golden features' of the iPhone 5.
  • Is it illegal to use software to mask my IP address to watch geo restricted video? I wanna know if it's illegal to mask my iphone and buy a service like Netflix USA or wwe network?
