Will iphone 6 factory locked work outside USA?

I want to ask if the new iPhone 6 factory locked work outside USA. I will only use it for playing games and using Wi-Fi only. I will not use any kind of sim on it so should I buy the factory locked version or the unlocked version of iPhone 6. I want to save my money if will work outside america. I'm recently in USA but later I will be in Pakistan.

Currently the iPhone 6 is not sold unlocked in the US, but to answer the question, yes it would work outside of the US.

Yes if you are only using it for playing games and using Wi-Fi then a factory locked phone will work no problem. It just won't be able to make any calls. You need an unlocked phone for that. Check the description box of this video for which USA carrier iPhone models can be unlocked and which can't
