Backed up 2 iphones on one cpu?

So i let ripped some cds for my brother and put them on his iphone. In order to do this I connected his phone to my itunes. His phone backed up as soon as I put it in. I manually synced his music and thats it. Our iphones have different names. After I was done I forgot to check his phone to make sure get didn't get any of my contact notes or photos.

Since his iphone backed up on my cpu is it possible that our phones have the same information as far as notes, contacts and text messages (not worried about music).

Will our iphone back ups be fused into one backup pr in other words become corrupted because the backups are for two different phones? If for some random reason he needed to restore his iphone from my itunes will he end up getting my information too? Is there anyway to see what backups are in my itunes.

I have a lot of passwords in my notes app and I really hope he didn't get my notes because I know he wouldnt tell me and he would login into my emails, bank accounts etc.

ITunes can definitely distinguish between 2 different backups. To see the backups you can go to iTunes > Preferences > Devices and it will show them all. If your brother wanted to restore his phone on your computer that would alsobe possible.iTunes would ask you once it restored the phone whether you wanted to treat it as a new phone or it would give you a choice of backups to restore from and you could chose his iPhone back up rather than yours.

It is very unlikely your information went onto his phone. You would have had to specify that you wanted to sync your contacts, notes or photos. Your text messages etc. Would not sync from your computer.

  • My CPU HP. Deleted my surround sound via Bluetooth connected devices.now cpu refuses to find it. Was paired and made a mistake deleting it Manage Bluetooth devices… Deleted my surround sound there cause it wasn't working. Turns out my damn iPhone Bluetooth was on and that's why. However I already deleted it. Can't believe it is not just finding it again. Didn't realize I'd be blocking my surround sound from my cpu so it couldn't find it… Hard to believe my cpu can never connect to my surround sound again!
  • Is my iPhone backed up correctly? My iPhone 4 device is having an issue, and I'm trying to get is swapped out today. I want to back up my data to the iCloud, but there's some confusion. On iTunes my phone is switched to "Back up to iCloud", and under that it says it's last back up was when I plugged it into my computer. But on my phone under iCloud backup, it says it has never been backed up. Is this normal? Two different answers doesn't help me out really…
  • I Have An Old iPhone And I Backed It Up To iCloud. How Do I Get It On My New iPhone? I bought an iPhone but there was problems with it so I got a new one… But before I gave it away I backed everything up to iCloud. So how do I get it back and onto my new iPhone? And does it do restoring of app data as well onto my new iPhone? Such as Tiny Tower? So I don't have to start again? And does it do all my notes and contacts as well?
  • How to view iTunes backed up photos and videos? I had an iPhone with lots of pictures and videos on it, and everytime I synced up with the computer i'd backup everything. I don't own an iPhone anymore, and would like a way to find the pictures and videos on the backup to be able to put on my new phone. I know if I had another iPhone, just by syncing it and pressing restore with backup, all my photos and videos would be there. Anyway to get the photos and videos just from the computer?
