Best way to be contactable for work while in water?
I'm on call for work and tend to surf in most of my spare time. I need a way of being contactable in the water. I know you can now get waterproof cases for iphones but after looking at them I would not trust my expensive phone in one being knocked about in the surf. I've seen a few "tough" phones on ebay but looks like most are just water resistant… For drops in the pool ect not extended aquatic use. Any cheap solutions? Plastic bag on old phone:-)
This is where maybe the apple watch may be a benefit when that comes out
- Will my waterproof iPhone get water damage if I wet it while it has a tiny crack? I have an iPhone 8 which is waterproof but I have a very TINY crack on the screen, you can't see it unless you look for it. I only noticed it was there because I felt it when scrolling on it. My question is, could I still get my phone wet or will it break because the water will go through the crack? I used to love taking it into the ocean with me and I'd like to take it with me while I go tubing.
- What is the cheapest way to use my iPhone while studying in France? I will be studying in France from February through June. I have an iPhone 4s and I'm currently using at&t. I've heard there's a way to buy a pre-paid sim card? The main reason I would like a cell phone while abroad is to communicate with friends in France. I plan on using Skype to talk to anyone in the US.
- What is the best way to call my family in the US while on my trip to Cuba? I have an iPhone with Verizon wireless. I need a way to call cell phones in the US from Cuba. Any ideas?
- I just bought a motorcycle and was wondering what is the best way to talk on the phone while riding? Or maybe listening to a music. I don't plan on doing that by default but if and when it is needed I want to be able to have that option available. What do people use as far as communicators are concerned> I have a cruiser bike and a full on helmet HJC CL-17 to be exact. My phones an iPhone SE (Special Edition).
