Can I get an iPhone 5 replacement even though it's discontinued?

I dropped my phone and it shattered and it'll turn on, but I can't see anything. I know that the iPhone 5 is discontinued, but can I still get a replacement iPhone 5 under warranty?

Discontinued means they are no longer making them.Ie. There's the retail stock that was left in stores and that's it. There are no replacements on discontinued items.

You should be able to get it repaired though. Sounds like it just needs a new screen.

Apple still carries replacements and you can go to the genius bar and get a replacement for free if you are still within your 1 year complmentary warranty or if you purchased the AppleCare protection plan. If not, there's a fee you will have to pay but you can still receive a replacement.

Here is a link to the stores in the USA
http://www.apple.com/...storelist/

if you live in another country you can select in in the drop down box on the right side of the screen.
After you find your nearest Apple Store find the box with the Genius Bar logo, click on it, and schedule your appointment.

Should. Apple would have absorbed the unsold inventory for that.
