Can i live off minimum wage?

So i'm 18 year old male hoping i can get a job soon within the field i'm going to culinary school for. I start at the end of the year and finish by next summer and will have to pay off 35, 000 in total for 10 years interest included plus 3k for the fafsa loan with 6.9% rate if i get a job this month and work 7.50 an hour will i be able to pay 319 each month after school starts and still live comfortably i have no other responsibilities i'm just hoping to get an iphone 5 and pay the bills myself

Added (1). Sorry i forgot to mention i still do live with my mother and she provides for me but she has high amounts of bills to pay and id already have about 2 months of pay checks for metrocards i live in ny btw and the school is almost an hour away so its about 50$ per week for metros and maybe pay phone bills but thats about it and id just get the 5c if its cheaper than the original 5 so won't i still have plenty of money left over?

To be honest, I wouldn't get an iPhone 5, just yet, You should use it for your loan, or savings. I doubt you would be be able to make it off that without a room-mate, or if you live at a relatives/friends house.

Culinary school for 35, 000$? You getting ripped off.

check with Attorney General, Better Business Bureau
check with companies that 'hired' grads from 'school'

u b amazed at the reality.

start at fast foods, work your way to a restaurant.
attend community college for 1/3 that cost
to get a degree in cooking that leads to actual
jobs.

understand to pay off the 35K = you will need to earn nearly
60, 000 b4 taxes - that is a lot of your life.

as for 319 loan on minimum wages, you will be living
in homeless shelter as that is nearly 1/3 of your take home pay.

you could not afford to rent here.

do your research b4 u regret your choice.

Yes living at home with mommy is the best way to be an adult and get started in life.

Yes, you can.

  • What's the minimum age to work at the Apple Store? Well, there's this Apple store that's (literally) across the street from where I live & (I'm 15) I want to start getting money on my own cause I don't wanna keep asking my mom for money when I go out with my friends and stuff & I heard that Apple employees get paid a lot. (I have the iPhone 5 & Mac & Macbook pro 13" so I know how to use the Apple products pretty well) so I was just wondering.
  • What is the minimum Mac required for creating an iPhone app? I'd like to try my hand at creating iPhone Apps. I'm looking on Craigslist to purchase a Mac, but I'm overwhelmed with all the choices? I'm looking to spend as little as possible. I'm also not very familiar with Macs, so am pretty clueless when it comes to knowing what model I need to start creating iPhone apps.
  • What is the correlation between Slave wage labor and American capitalism? Like chinese child sweat shops, chinese building iphones and tech for cent an hour, chocolate coming from africa slave like work I'm new to english and terminology but can you explain capitalism and the correlation of these things. Someone was talking about it saying, I don't think capatlism is bad but America does bad things in the name of capatalism and somewhere in the discussion i heard slavery, wage labor etc.
  • We should all go on strike to raise the minimum wage to $50/hour? So we can feed our 10 children and keep our iphones and bmws and all live in bel-air. They need to show more respect for us burger flippers.
