Can I tether my iPhone to my home Wi-Fi?

Am i able to tether my iphone to my home Wi-Fi internet, so i can use the internet wherever i go? So its like turning my phone into another modem for my home internet?

my device is Jailbroken

Your Wi-Fi will only work within the range from you home modem, if you go too far you go 3g
so no, you can't take your Wi-Fi away from your home

I got a big data plan to use for tethering but it can only connect to a few devices and using the Wi-Fi tethering uses allot of battery. So I would like router to help with that. But the only router I found was the Nexaria BC2 but it looks like that was discontinued back in 2010… http://3gstore.com/product/2384_nexaira_r-si-nex-bc-b209.html Is there another workaround that would work for this? I did not think it would be this hard:/
