Can I use an iPhone with a prepaid sim card in Poland?

I currently have an iPhone 5s (Verizon Wireless). In a few weeks I will be traveling to Poland for a month. I'm planning on buying one of those sim cards from the airport in Poland. I'm wondering, can I use my iPhone? Do I need any specific kind of sim card? Also, will it cost people in the US to text or call my phone when it has the Polish sim card in it.

Usually you can use your normal provider, just with an extra fee. I know for tmobole you can. Go to a Verizon store and ask them about it

  • Will cutting my sim card work to use as a micro sim card? I just ordered an iPhone 4 and I need to cut the sim card to make it a Micro sim. Will it affect it. I have seen a bunch of video and already have the template it for it. I'm using simple mobile. Do you know if anything wrong happen to it?

I recently lost my iphone so i reported it to orange ( my carrier) a week later my friend told me i left it at his house, so i tried to return it to orange as it was now their property but they said it was use less to them, and as i originaly come from poland i was wondering if it would work there.   • When I unlock my iphone can I use a prepaid SIM card when I travel? I live in Germany and a friend sold me her iphone 3gs when her contract was up. She said the phone would be unlocked after a certain date but it hasn't yet. If i do this myself will I be able to use any SIM card? I have 1and1 for phone service and when I travel to the states I get a prepaid SIM from tmobile. Will these work on the iphone too?
  • Is there a prepaid plan I can use with my 3GS using my AT&T SIM card? I know that StraightTalk has gone all screwy for us AT&T iPhone users. I really don't want to have to buy a new SIM card from anyone, especially not at the supply-and-demand prices one now faces in the mobile phone world. If I can keep my number, that'd be just too groovy for words; I don't really expect to be able to though.
