Is there a prepaid plan I can use with my 3GS using my AT&T SIM card?
I know that StraightTalk has gone all screwy for us AT&T iPhone users. I really don't want to have to buy a new SIM card from anyone, especially not at the supply-and-demand prices one now faces in the mobile phone world.
If I can keep my number, that'd be just too groovy for words; I don't really expect to be able to though.
You can almost always keep your number when you switch phone carriers. I think you would have to get a new SIM from a new mobile phone carrier, but you should ask their customer service to be sure.
If you get your phone unlocked you can use t-mobile.
- Will cutting my sim card work to use as a micro sim card? I just ordered an iPhone 4 and I need to cut the sim card to make it a Micro sim. Will it affect it. I have seen a bunch of video and already have the template it for it. I'm using simple mobile. Do you know if anything wrong happen to it?
- When I unlock my iphone can I use a prepaid SIM card when I travel? I live in Germany and a friend sold me her iphone 3gs when her contract was up. She said the phone would be unlocked after a certain date but it hasn't yet. If i do this myself will I be able to use any SIM card? I have 1and1 for phone service and when I travel to the states I get a prepaid SIM from tmobile. Will these work on the iphone too?

- How to use my data plan on my prepaid iphone 3gs without Wi-Fi? I was originally on the $50 unlimited talk/text plan with at&t and would just use my Wi-Fi at home for the internet. They just made a new rate plan for smartphones allowing them to get data usage. I switched to the $65 uunlimited talk/text/international calling and text and 1GB of data.once i added the money to my account and switched my rate plan i turned off my Wi-Fi and i can't get on the internet. Any help please?
