Can I use my iPhone to call another iPhone that s in another country but has a US number?
My mom is going to a different country for a week and I want to call her, I have an iPhone, she does too, same plan, both us numbers, will I get charged for calling her when she goes to a different country
It depends on the cell phone provider you each have, like Verizon or AT&T or Sprint. Contact the provider and ask them about international calls from the US.
If she can get onto a free Wi-Fi network then use Facetime to avoid roaming calling fees.
Hi yes this call will be so expensive as it includes different data carriers, and they charge lot for this service.
- Has anyone has this problem out of country with iPhone? So I'm in Mexico and turned on airplane mode and turned off cellular data. I'm using Wi-Fi currently. Has anyone done the same and came home to being charged for using data? I wanna know so I can stop now.
- Does switching stores on iTunes (from country to country) affect the apps? So I downloaded a lot of apps on my iPhone when I was in the US Currently, I'm in Canada and it won't let me switch stores back until my apple music subscription is over. My question is, when I do change back, will I have to redownload all the apps? Also when I want to update the apps would I have to switch back to the US Store?

- Can you text someone from another country if they are visiting your country? So I currently live in America, and one of my friends is living in Canada so we're unable to text each other without a fee. My friend is actually coming to New York for a few days on a field trip in school, meaning she will be in the country. Does this mean that we can text each other while she is in the country, or not cause her number is still registered to Canada? If it helps at all, I have AT&T she she is using an Iphone
