Can my iphone give my pc a virus through usb? - 1
Possibly.
It all depends if your phone has a PC program that has a virus.
It must be a PC program. Data files, such as photos and videos, are not programs and can't carry viruses. Meanwhile iPhone viruses do not work on PCs (or vice-versa - your PC can't infect your iPhone)
Not very likely since iPhones getting viruses is hard enough by itself, let alone transferring one to a computer.
- Will other computer be infected by virus through my iPhone 4 and iCloud? My old laptop (windows) have some virus, but I already delete it. And I reformat my laptop, and I have iTunes and connected to my iPhone 4. So if I buy a new laptop wether it is Mac or windows Will it be infected to a virus?
- Why is Apple so keen to push USB-C with their Macbooks but they don't include USB-C on the iPhone? It seems like the Macbook department at Apple thinks USB Type C is the best thing since sliced bread but the iPhone department thinks USB Type C is work of the devil.
- If an iPhone somehow got a virus, what would stop that virus from spreading to the recovery image? If an iPhone got a virus, couldn't it just spread to the recovery image? I don't mean where you connect the iPhone to your computer and restore through iTunes. I mean the restore image that is actually on the iPhone.
- I have a iPhone and my safari froze when a pop up asked me to call this number to get rid of a virus so I don't know if I have a virus or no? So today I was looking for music online and this pop up came up and froze my browser and it asked me to call this number but I didn't and hit cancel and cleared my history and I restarted my phone cause it acted slow so I don't know if I have a virus or not
