Can my iphone still be tracked?
So my iphone 4 was stolen yesterday. I called my carrier and they informed me the sim card must have been removed or destroyed.
I've done a bit of reading on how thieves try to erase all the settings on the phone so they can't be traced down.
Is there any way to track my phone if the sim was removed and or if they erased all the info on my phone?
I already contacted the police
I would call apple do they know when that phone is activated by the serial number.
Some people are smart a**es and turn the phone off, take sim card out & everything so they won't be tracked down.sad but true! Its so sad to know there's such cruel people in this world. And i know this probably doesn't mean a lot but karma is a b***! Ohh but if they didn't take the sim out and theyve accessed the internet (while location services is on) they can be tracked. I really don't know what to say:/ i hope you are able to track them down though!
Sadly, once the sim card is removed from the device, nothing can really be done to find the phone, other than to wait. Maybe call your insurance company or cell phone provider?
