Can you put spyware on an iPhone remotely?
The reason I ask is because, somehow my Father installed spyware on my iphone 6 that allowed my Parents to see my text messages. I don't know how He did this since I keep good track of where my phone is, and it never went missing. Also, how would He bypass the passcode lock to do it? I have since updated IOS disabling it hopefully!
No, you can't. With that said, there are tons of parental controls built into the iPhone, one of which is the ability to read your child's texts. Absolutely nothing you can do about it.
Update: LOL, you downvoted me because I'm smarter than you? LOL, what an idjit.
Dave is entirely correct. I used the iPhone for my kids for just that reason. No better way to monitor their activities.
- What happens when you remotely wipe your iPhone? Just lost my iPhone, got the address for the person who stole it then I did a remote wipe using iCloud. What happens now? Can they turn my iPhone on and use it? Will it be restore to the factory settings?
- What can I use to remotely watch a webcam? I have two bunnies at home and I would like to set up a webcam to see what they're doing when I'm not home. Is there anything free that I can do this on an iPhone or computer? I have a computer with webcam to set up near them.
- Stolen/ lost iPhone, can I add a tracker app remotely to my phone from my computer? How would I ad the app ''lookout'' to track my phone without having the phone here? There's a guy on YouTube that said he can do that but i don't know how to remotely ad an app without the phone being here
- Is it possible for police to put spyware on an iPhone? Would it be possible for police to put spyware on an iPhone that they had in their possession? And would a factory reset destroy any spyware?
