Can you refund something from eBay?
Ok so I want to buy an iPhone from eBay but its a refurbished iPhone so i'm a little skeptical on it, however, in the description it says "30-day returns" so i assume that means the i have 30 days to return it, but does that actually mean ill be getting my money back? I understand if i have to pay for shipping or something but i just wanted to confirm that this "30-day returns" really means that I can refund it, Thanks
P.S if i do end up having to ask for a refund, how do I ask for it?
If you pay using PayPal, you get buyer protection - this means PayPal and eBay will work to resolve the problem, and will refund your money if they can't resolve it. The resolution process takes time, though. I would contact the seller and ask for a more detailed return policy if you want to make sure you get your money refunded quickly.
Email them and ask. And then when you get the answer, ask them to send that to you in an email. Your understanding and their explanation need to match. Will you be issued a refund or an exchange for another item? Tom V is correct, ask for a VERY detail explanation of the sellers return policy.
Is that 30 days from the day it is shipped, the day I was charged on my credit card or the day it actually arrives and I open the box?
