Can you still use iMessage even though the iPhone is off?
Yeah you can sent message to your turned off iphone… When you turn on it, it will show the messages… And you can leave the command message to your iphone to lock or delete all the files in your iphone when you lost it
Yes, you may send iMessages to an iPhone that is turned off.
The iMessage from the sending phone will say that the message was sent, but not delivered. When the off iPhone is turned on, the sending iPhone will see a "Delivered" notification underneath the sent iMessage and a "Read" notification if that is enabled.
Well no. You can't send or receive if the device being used is off.
You can use iMessage from another device (Mac, iPod, iPad) even if your iPhone is off.
When you turn your iPhone back on, the messages which were sent and received to/from your account will appear on your iPhone.
- Will Apple still replace my iPhone 5S even though the warranty is out? Okay so the other day I noticed some very weird black particles in my photos, I tried cleaning the camera but it didn't work. I'm scheduled for a genius appointment tomorrow and my warranty is out. I don't want to have to spend $300 on getting a replacement. So would they still replace my iPhone or would I have to deal with their pathetic policies?
- Why can I still send texts to other iPhones even though my iPhone has NO sim card? My iPhone stopped recieving calls properly so I've had to put my sim card into a different phone. Why when my mate text me from his iPhone did I receive it still on my iPhone and not the phone with the sim card in. And I was able to text him back from the iPhone but when he called me the little Nokia that I'm using rang… I'll be honest, I really don't understand how iOs stuff works…
- Why can I not use any sim card in my iPhone even though it is unlocked? I got an iPhone from a friend who says that the phone is unlocked, but every sim card I try in it seems not to work, it keeps on coming up with the same message that "There's no SIM card installed in the iPhone you are attempting to activate. Please disconnect and insert a SIM card in the iPhone." when have clearly put one in. What can I do?
- When traveling, can I buy a SIM card to my iphone even though I'm still on a contract? I'm traveling soon. I have verizon and their roaming service is very expensive. I was wondering if once I get to my destination country, can I buy a SIM card so that I can be able to obtain phone service while on my trip? If not, My iphone is still under contract, if I get my phone unlocked, then buy a SIM card, would that also be a problem?
