Computer says connected to internet but doesn't work?

I have a windows 8.1 desktop that connects to my home Wi-Fi. It says it is connected with full bars but when I open my browser and try to go to a webpage nothing loads. I have already tried disconnecting and reconnecting it to the Wi-Fi, as well as unplugging the router. We have 2 other computers and an iPhone that are all working perfectly fine on the Wi-Fi. I have tried 3 browsers (Google chrome, Firefox, and internet explorer) and nothing is working.

Same thing happens to my IPad! It's so annoying! All I do is unplug my wireless internet then put it back in. When that fails I smash my IPad some more then go downstairs and play on the laptop. Don't recommend that bit

I don't like Windows 8.1 so i don't know beans about it. I use Windows 7. Try disconnecting the Wi-Fi to see if that works.

Hi, The Problem is - i set up a wireless network today for my Iphone 5 and my blackberry, from my main desktop at home, and all went well and Both are connected to it, as well as my laptop. But now whenever i try using the internet on these devices ( iphone etc ) it does not work, although the main desktops internet is working… Can anyone help me? I'm using WINDOWS 7.
  • My phone is connected to the internet but doesn't show the Wi-Fi bar logo? So I was in the middle of watching a video until my phone died. I charged it and waited for it to restart again. It did but didn't connect to the Wi-Fi after at least waiting 15 seconds for it to connect. I opened the settings app and checked if it was connected. It was connected with a check mark but there was no Wi-Fi bar logo. I was confused and tried watching some videos (which didn't work). Does anyone have a solution to this? P.S, I have a iPhone 6s for anyone who is curious.
  • My laptop says the Wi-Fi connection is connected to the internet, but has no access? I'm using a Windows 7 laptop and I can't connect to the internet, while my iPhone and mom's laptop has internet access. I have tried resetting the router, used system restore and virus scans but there were no results. Does anyone knows how to fix this issue?
  • My iphone says i'm connected to Wi-Fi but when i try to run something it says i'm not connected? My phone shows signal, it has a check mark by the device but when i try to open an app it says can't find a connection.
