Do I have to have internet connection to use Siri on an iPhone 4s?

I was just wondering because I found some good ones on Ebay but I want to know more about them. Do I just need internet connection for certain things I ask it? Like maps or looking something up? But not for making a note or sending a text?

No you do not, but that is ONLY if you have a phone company service(like Verizon) to provide you with its network. But if you were to have it without the network services, then you will have to rely on Wi-Fi connection to use Siri.

  • Wi-Fi says I have connection but can't connect to internet? On my iPhone and other phones in the house the Wi-Fi says its connected but when I try to access the Internet it doesn't load. I've turned off the router for awhile and turned it back on. It still didn't work then I reset the router and still doesn't. What can I do?

You see the router is in my roommate's room down the hall, and while my PC is hardwired into it (ethernet cable), my phone's Wi-Fi is quite weak (1-2 bars) and drops frequently, because it's going through several walls. Is there a Wi-Fi receiver adapter or something I can use to allow my iphone to connect to my pc's fast internet connection?

But now I can't do anything on it that involves Internet. I can't open my safari without Wi-Fi anymore. I can make calls and text but I can't browse it send pictures or use net active apps without connecting to Wi-Fi. What can I do?
