Does my laptop have to be connected to the Internet when using Bump for iPhone?

I see that the app "Bump" now allows you to transfer files between iPhone and PC. But do you need an Internet connection on your laptop to carry it out? Or just your iPhone?

When you do it between phones there must be a Wi-Fi connection. I assume that the same is true about computers.

Of course not! Wi-fi is nothing to do with connecting to other network services(unless you want to connect to other online devices)

Hi, The Problem is - i set up a wireless network today for my Iphone 5 and my blackberry, from my main desktop at home, and all went well and Both are connected to it, as well as my laptop. But now whenever i try using the internet on these devices ( iphone etc ) it does not work, although the main desktops internet is working… Can anyone help me? I'm using WINDOWS 7.
  • Why does my iPhone still charge for Internet even when I'm not using Internet? So, I recently got a pay monthly plan with my new iPhone 4s. When i'm out and about I'm usually updating my twitter and Facebook account. But, when I'm put my phone down, 3G still says I'm using it and charging me. So do I have to turn it off when i'm finished? Or is there a much easier way?
  • Can I track my laptop even when it isn't connected to internet? I have a 2016 MacBook and it was recently stolen, I was wondering if it was possible to track it even if the "thief" wasn't connected to the internet. Plus I don't have any extra anti theft things installed. But it is installed on my cloud so I think I should be able to view it on my iPhone…
  • No internet on laptop even though it says connected? Internets always worked fine but now nothing. I've tried wireless and cable on my home internet, i've tried using my iphones hotspot and it always says connected but nothing works. Its definitely not my internet as everything else connected works. And i can still ping websites in command prompt but thats it. Can anyone help? Really not keen on buying a new laptop…
