Does 'Spotify' only work with an internet connection?

Does the music app Spotify only work over an internet connection on an iPhone 5s devise, because I can't seem to get it to play music?

I used Spotify b4. You need a connection to stream the songs but you can then listen to those songs anywhere without a connection. Hope this helps.

  • Wireless internet connection won't work on any device? My broadband connection works just fine, but the wireless connection won't work. All the devices I;ve tried are two laptops (Vaio) an iPad, and three iPhone 5's. When this happens, I usually just turn the router of and on again, but that won't work. I've connected my laptop to broadband to ask this question, by the way. It's on and all the devices can see it, but when I try to join, they say unable to connect. I don't have a password
