EBay warranty, should I go through PayPal?
I bought a new iPhone 4 front screen through eBay because mine was broke. I fitted it, but after 3 months it's now not turning on. The eBay shop I bought it from said they all came with one year warranty
I've been trying to contact them the past few days but they're refusing to reply to my emails/ebay messages (despite leaving feedback for other users since)
Should this be pursued through PayPal?
It has nothing to do with paypal.
Give the seller some time to reply then if you receive no response. Try ebays live chat & see what they suggest
- What happens if you use paypal to avoid ebay fees? A friend of mine is big into ebay and sells and buys alot. He wanted to buy an iphone for a little less and offered the seller less to go through paypal to go around ebay and save on fees. The seller said if he would just send an invoice through paypal. I told him he could probably get screwed doing it like that but figured i would ask. So if he pays the invoice would he have any protection if the seller decided to be mean and not send it out? Or would he be SOL

The seller's story is he's out of town in Portersville, GA, which checks out because his area code is near Macon, GA which is very close to the area of dealing via Atlanta Craigslist. He's PP verified, confirmed, and willing to give me verification pictures with text that I have given him to put on a paper. Does this sound like a scam? It's for a 64GB iPhone 5S, most 16GB go for 350-400.
- I think somebody is trying to scam me through paypal - how do I report this person? I'm selling my iPhone and put an advert online, and somebody responded to me by email that they wanted to buy it basically, and they want it sent to Nigeria and I gave him my paypal address to send payment too and I have received an email that looks like it is from paypal, it basically says the payment is pending and I should send out the goods. I think this is a scam. What do I do - how do I report this person?

Will I be in the same trouble for selling luxury brand products? ps: I have been selling on ebay for 3 years and this is the first time I've sold luxury brand products.
