Forgot iPhone passcode? (Not lock screen passcode but security passcode)?
I know the lock screen passcode to get to the home screen etc. However I let my friend put a security passcode which is the passcode used to hide or show certain apps and also to reset factory settings etc. On an iPhone.
BUT HE FORGOT IT!
So how do I reset this passcode or bypass it?
I let him do the passcode because he was supposed to be my safekeeper of the passcode as I removed Safari on my own to put in a browser that had web filters on it so that I couldn't access Safari.
You must either reset the phone, or restore it from the last backup you have that didn't have the code set.
- Is there anyway I can bypass my passcode on my iPhone 4 or it's a 5 I'm not sure but I can't remember the passcode but I need it I know you can restore but I don't want to do that because I don't think I have the computer I backed it up to back then. And i don't know what update this is. Like I haven't see the emergency button there at all in any videos
- I just got an iPhone 7 and I forgot the passcode so now I can't finish setting up? It can't connect to iTunes and it's not on my iCloud? I feel so dumb for forgetting it, I'm always bad with remembering numbers. Even though I just put it in, I can't remember it. I really don't want to call Apple Support if I don't have to. How could I factory reset it or something? I just got the phone and didn't even finish setting it up yet so there's no data that I'm concerned about. It can't connect to my iTunes or anything like that.

I have a iphone5c and i forgot my 4digit passcode, the last place i had my phone synced and connected to was a computer at the mall and i haven't installed my device to the itunes on my computer yet so i can't use itunes to reset it. What other ways can i restore my phone without using itunes?
