Found an iPhone but can't unlock it?
Ok so I found an iPhone a couple days ago and I put my SIM card in it and It took me to a login for this girls/guys Apple ID. Since they set the phone up under there Apple ID, I have too have they're Apple ID and password in order to get in. It also says I have to contact the previous owner in order to get into it. Is there a way I can get into it without the persons Apple ID/ password?
This is to prevent iPhone theft. The only way that you can unlock the iPhone is to plug it into a computer with iTunes and the registered iTunes account, and wipe the phone. The apple store as well as whatever carrier the phone is (Verizon, sprint, etc.) under may also be able to unlock it, but most likely will not since it is not your phone.
Dude, that is like highly illegal.
Return the phone… I'm sure you would want someone to if you lost yours… Just email them on the email for the Apple ID

- I found one iPhone 5 recently on the airport. How can i unlock it and use it? As per suggestions on the net, I tried to unlock it by restoring the factory setting using itune by pressing power button and home button simultaneously for some time. After restoration process got over, i tried to activate the phone but i'm get the message "This iphone is currently linked to an apple ID…" and i'm not able to activate it. Can someone help.
- I found an iPhone 6s but it has a network lock so i can't activate it. How do i find out its carrier to request an unlock? I'm unable to find out its number when i try to activate it it says sim not supported and if i take the sim out it said i need a sim if i connect it to my laptop it tells me the same thing how do i come up with funny jokes
- I found an iphone 4s that's locked. How can I unlock it and use it? I work at a bar and people leave their phones all the time. I had an iphone 4, but it recently broke. I took an iphone 4s that has been at my work for the last 4 months. I was hoping to use it. The only problem is their is a passcode on the phone. How can I unlock it and wipe it to use it? Sorry I forgot to mention this phone has been sitting in our lost and found for quite some time. I did not steal it.
