How do I back up my iphone 6?
Carefully. You wouldn't want to lose anything.
Install iTunes on a computer that has more disk space available than your iPhone.
Plug in your iPhone. Back up iPhone to Computer--not to iCloud.
Be sure to back up your iPhone every few weeks/months, you don't want to be left hung and dry if you lose your phone or it gets broken.
Plug it into a computer or simply get an icloud account and do it from settings.
