How does Apple check for jailbreak?

Dreamjb.com is releasing the Jailbreak for 6.0.1 for my iPhone 5! Yes! It's about time!
But Wait! I love my warranty. So If something goes wrong, and I restore it to factory. Will they be able to detect it.

Yes they can detect it, but since they are busy… They usually don't

I've had multiple times where my phone freezes and I've taken it to restore or change and
they haven't said anything about it. I've gotten restores/updates without a problem
and I also got a new iPhone without a problem once.

It is legal to jailbreak. And I don't think they can see if your jailbroken or not.

If you bring your phone in for your warranty, they will usually check to see if modified code is running on the phone. However, if you have jailbroken then resored it (WITHOUT using a backup from a jb'ed phone), they can't tell. Basically, if you need to bring it in, back everything up, and don't insall anything, just leave the phone empty then bring it to them.

  • Will apple check my broken iPhone if I try to return it? My last shred of hope. My dad is getting knee surgery so I don't want him to be paying for anything. I can use my old phone. My iPhone 3gs got water damaged. I know that it has water sensors but, if i return it in the box with all the other stuff, will they check? It's not totally broken, when you plug it in to charge it just flashes the charge me sign and doesn't charge. At least it is showing signs of life though…
  • What does it mean to check in for a flight? I have a flight in almost 24hrs. It's a Southwest flight & I got a email saying that I can check in within 24hrs of my flight. What will checking in on my phone vs checking in when I get to the airport? I only will have two bags to check in & two small carry-ons. I don't have a printer, I would just be checking in using my Southwest app on my iPhone

  • Does T Mobile do a credit check? I went on T Mobile and I was going to buy the iPhone 5 for $145.99 but in little letters it says "for well qualified buyers." Does this mean they will do a credit check? Virgin Mobile doesn't and they are prepaid and so is T Mobile. I want to buy the phone then have it shipped to me but when I go to the store to activate it, will they do a credit check?
