How long does water have to be inside my iphone before I see water damage?
So I was swimming earlier and I have a life proof case so, I decided to bring it into the pool because it was overheating in the sun. So I drop it in the pool and luckily I grab it real fast, and to my surprise I see the little flap on the bottom open. I get out and suck the water out of the speaker with my mouth (I know sounds weird). Then I put it in a bag of rice for maybe 45 minutes. It's functioning now, but I want to know, how long does an iphone have to be in water untreated before I start to see REAL damage from water damage.
It's best not to drop your phone into a pool.
25 seconds!
happy to help!
- IPhone 4s water damage. (Inside headphone jack)? So When I first got an iPhone 4S it weren't working probably so the apple store replaced it for me, but the new one it stopped working probably to, I took it back to the apple store and they said I have water damage inside the headphone Jack, so when I put my headphones in it freezes parts of the song I'm listening to or will jump from lyric to lyric, does anyone know a way to resolve this without having to spend to much money - none if possible
- How long should i put my iPhone in rice after water Damage? I had my phone in my pocket and without noticing i jumped in my pool with my buddies, I stayed in there for about 1:30 minutes and I got out of the pool immediately and tried to turn it off but my iphone didn't respond so I took the SIM out and dried it and placed it on a bag of rice with silica gel packs. How long should i keep it there? Or should I call a repair company?
- How long should I leave my iphone in rice for? (water damage)? So I dropped my phone in water today, it was only in there for about 5 or ten seconds before I took it out. The screen started flickering and turned off. About an hour and a half later when I got home I put it in rice. How long should I leave it there for?
- How long should I keep my iPhone in rice after water damage? About 3 hours ago, I dropped my phone in the bath tub. Within half a second I got it out, dried it and put it in rice. It does turn out but it also is spastic. How long should I keep it in rice or is there a better way I can fix this? On* not out.
