How to become a part of the rich and popular crowd?
I'm a sophomore and I started at my school sometime around November of last year. I still do not have any friends. The school I go to is a really good school in a rich part of town and I'm only able to go because of an academic scholarship I received. I feel so out of place because just about everyone else is rich. And there's a big popular crowd, too. They basically look down on me because I'm "not like them" or whatever, but I want to be like them. I know it sounds shallow, but being rich and popular must be nice. They all have cars. They always have new designer clothes and shoes. They walk around with so much confidence and all of the girls in that group have boyfriends or cute boys they flirt with. I don't even have a date to homecoming and some of these girls have been asked three or four times. They also always have the newest phones and stuff. I heard this one girl in my bio class say that her dad finally got her the new iPhone after she dropped and broke her other one just so she could get that new one she wanted. All I have is a freaking flip phone. It sucks. Does anyone have any tips on how to be popular or get into the rich and popular crowd?
You can't compete with the resources that these other kids have right now. You just can't. Getting a job may allow you to be able tobafford a phone or a new shirt every once in awhile.
Use this experience to motivate you to get great grades and to do well on your standardized tests. Get into a great college and choose a major that pays well. Work for a great company coming out of college and youbwill catch up to these guys at that point in your life. Yeah.a few years will have passed. You will have made a monumental leap forward though.
I highly recommend a book called The Success Principles by Jack Canfield. If your library doesn't have it, they should be able to get it for you from a loan via another library. This book can help you figure how to get the things you want in your life.
Be rich and popular
The only way to get some positive attention is to be different from them. Be the arty and creative one instead of a carbon copy of the spoiled girls who act like babies when they're far too old for that. Dress in a creative boho way and don't even act interested in expensive brands. That makes it your choice and not something done out of necessity. Plus, you will look like a colorful bird in a flock of sparrows, all dressed in their safe and ordinary brand clothing.
That's what I always did naturally because I wanted to be that way. Oddly, the rich and popular girls were envious of my confidence to be dif. Instead of shunning me, they always were interested in what I was doing and thinking. Btw, you can easily get a no contract smartphone in the electronics dept. Of big stores like Walmart or whatever. Maybe not a big name branded one but with the same features and remember, you choose to be dif so it would be perfect. Or you could make the case for preferring the retro old school flip phone because it unique. Whatever you do, do it with confidence.
- Why has cheating in a relationship become a popular trend? I understand people have been cheating on others since the dawn of time. But it seems in todays age it has become a sport or trend. I see gifs and memes all the time on the internet of people trying to unlocks their lovers iphone so they can see who they are cheating with. And when i googled it, all these sites came up talking about how cheating is good for a relationship. I do not understand this. Someone explain to me why cheating has become awesome.
- Why do rich people hate it when you call them rich? I remember this one girl I new from school had a brand new iphone with an expensive case covered in jewelry. Someone said "Wow, you're really rich!" and she was offended.
