How to brighten this dark picture?
I took this picture with my iPhone outside with my iPhone when it was dark. I tried using flash and it still wouldn't make it any brighter. Can anyone help me? Here is the link to the picture:
There's nothing there to brighten
All the area that is black has NO data, so can't be improved at all.
How far away were you from the subject when you tried to use flash?
Usually the flashes on a cell phone do not reach past about 33m (9 feet)
Use a flashlight -.
Check settings for phone app later, very blue channel, even for dark image, something wrong with image,
also noting size and quality not quality original, try finding and using original, as copy,
then adjust rgb levels and exposure,
may need to edit as black and white desaturated as color channels seem altered,

There's about 99% nothing available to lighten/brighten. You may as well try to un-scramble a scrambled egg.
I suggest reading the Owner's Manual for your phone and see what it says about using the camera and flash.
- Which picture edit app (for the iPhone) do you use to naturally remove any human being? He photobombed himself in my picture? I went to Disneyland yesterday and I can see my friend photobombed himself in my multiple pictures. I still have them on my phone. Does anybody have any recommendations (ideas) for any picture edit app I can use to edit him out? He's standing on the right side of me. (which I can see he ruined the moment for me.) P.S. Yes, I like to take pictures with other cosplayers.

- IPhone XS max takes very dark picture in dark rooms even with flash? My wife just got me the new iPhone XS for my birthday and I wanted to take a picture with the flash in a nearly pitch black room but realized that all the pictures came back very dark even when I used flash. Is there a way to take regular photos with the flash actually staying on when it takes the photo like any other phone?
