How to charge my American iphone in Denmark?

So I'm going abroad in Denmark for this next school year and my Dad (who was born and raised there) said that they use a different current (AC or DC) and have different voltage. Denmark has 230 voltage and i don't know what current type. US has 120 voltage. How do I charge my iphone from America whilst in Denmark without destroying it.

You get a transformer and charge it with that, or else see if you can charge it through someone's laptop - without frying their laptop.

However, did you check your phone? Many small devices like that are now made to be used with both kinds of voltage. Go back to the instruction manual and check it out.

  • What does an American need to charge iPhone in Central and Western Europe? I will be traveling in Germany, Austria, Czech, and Hungary. I'm also bringing my iPhone and a plug I can attach to my charger so that I can charge there. Do I also need an adapter (I think that is the term for the tool that converts voltage)? If so, what kind should I get?
  • Taking iPhone 4S to Denmark without SIM card. Will I be charged? Hi. I'm taking iPhone 4S to Denmark this afternoon and will be using it for pictures and iMessage. I'm not taking my SIM card so surely it's just like an iPod. What do I turn off? Can I be connected to a Wi-Fi whilst there for free without my SIM card in?
  • Is an American iPhone the same as a UK iPhone? Like are all the internals the same? And would an American iPhone work here in the UK if you bought it unlocked? Everyone says all iPhones are the same round the world and I think it would work, but I was just confirming.
