How to connect USB to Amplifier?
I have "InterM PAM-120 Public address Amplifier" I have 3.5mm jack connected to it so I Can play songs through my Ipod, Iphone… But I Was wondering if its possible to connect USB to play songs using USB?
You have to have DFC.
Not really - your USB memory stick does not have an audio output. The best you can do is connect the USB to a laptop or tablet and then connect it to the PA system.
- Will Audio-Technica ATH-M50's work without an amplifier? I'm looking to get the Audio-Technica ATH-M50 headphones. I would mostly be using them with my iPhone 4 and my Macbook Pro 13". I listen to all sorts of music, from folk metal, hip hop, jazz, and pop. I don't know much about these higher levels of headphones but I know this pair is very good for the price. I have read a bit about portable amplifiers, but I don't know what that really is and if it would be necessary.
- Why is Apple so keen to push USB-C with their Macbooks but they don't include USB-C on the iPhone? It seems like the Macbook department at Apple thinks USB Type C is the best thing since sliced bread but the iPhone department thinks USB Type C is work of the devil.
- Making amplifier for for 5 watt speaker? Okay, so i have a 5 watt speaker that i want to install in my dirt bike helmet and i want to play music with my iphone 5. There's only one problem, if i plug in the speaker straight to my iphone it won't play music loud. I need an amplifier but i can't have anything to big because this speaker and the amp has to fit into my helmet. I also i have no idea what to make the amp out of or what kind of amp i need to buy.

The instruction said that i can't use a 3.5mm jack to 1/4 jack adapter to connect to a amplifier. Are there any other ways to do this or am i stuck with just a headset, earphone and external speakers that has a 3.5mm jack? If a mixer would help, how would i connect it?
