How to find original owner to iPhone?
So last month I bought an iPhone 7 used. However, iTunes is activated locked. I contacted the person who sold me the phone and asked them to remove their device from find my iPhone. They told me that they bought it from someone else and they had the same problem and they didn't have contact info from the people they bought it from. Is there anyway I can find an email/phone number by using the imei number?
Or, more likely, you bought a lost or stolen phone.
The phone was stolen. Take it to the police and turn it in, and let them know who sold you the stolen property.
