How to get 4G on my iPhone 5?
I've just upgraded my phone with T-Mobile and got the new iPhone 5. I only seem to be able to receive 3G.
Is there something else I need to do to set it up?
It depends on your area!
If you are in the UK, you have to add the EE 4G service. You mist be in the EE coverage area for it to work. Https://explore.ee.co.uk/coverage-checker
T-Mobile doesn't offer 4G for the iPhone yet. Until they launch their LTE, you're stuck with 3G. Be glad you can get that. Most people who have iPhones only get 2G/edge with the iPhone.
As I understand it BOTH TMOBILE & ORANGE only offer 3G
This is the "strange" part you only get 4G when you are on EE, so the IP5 will accept the EE sim card
How you go about getting the EE Excessively Expensive tariff, or even if you can transfer is something you need to take up with TMO.

- Should I get rid of my iPhone and get a basic phone? I've had an iPhone for 2 years, and my contract runs out 9/2/12, should I get a 4s or a Pantech Jest 2? I want to save my dad money, and all I really use my iPhone for is music and Facebook. My friends say I should stick with my iPhone, but I don't know… Share your input, thanks
- Should I get my iPhone 4 fixed or get the iPhone 5? I've had my iPhone 4 for a year now, and the iPhone 5 just came out. My iPhone 4 home button doesn't work sometimes and its really annoying and frustrating. It also has a huge crack on the back. I heard that it's really expensive to get it fixed so i was wondering if i should just get an iPhone 5, or just get my current iPhone fixed.
- Should I get my iPhone 3GS fixed or get iphone 4S? Its going to cost me £119 to get my iPhone 3GS fixed, is it worth it or should I get the 4S on contract?
