How to make sure my iPhone is safe to be used by others?

Like if I want to show a friend a photo and they start going through other photos and come across an embarrassing:

Just delete your history every day, or every time you look up something weird! Otherwise, not much you can do… Just don't hand over your phone I guess. But I get what you mean and sometimes it's hard not to!
