How to run a windows app on a mac?

There's an app called NCEA credits (NCEA is a New Zealand exam) and it is only for windows but I have a mac and iPad and iPhone. I really really want this app!

Different hardware so apps don't run on both.

Install Windows. Steps…

- Buy a Windows 7 DVD or download Windows 8.
- If Windows 8, follow the guide at www.microsoft.com to make a bootable USB disk or burn to a DVD.
- Launch Boot Camp Assistant (find it at /Applications/Utilities).
- Follow the screen steps to download the "Windows Support Software" and create the partition.
- Click the Boot Camp screen to attach the USB disk or insert the DVD, and click button to "Restart".
- In the Windows installer, format the "BOOT CAMP" partition.
- Install.
- After all the fitful restarts, you are finally able to use Windows.
- Install the "Windows Support Software".

  • Should i switch from Windows to Mac? I'm thinking of buying a Macbook, it's expensive, but at-least I enjoy the liberty of knowing I won't be catching any viruses. I heard it's faster and more stable, and can connect fluently with other apple products (have an iPhone 5). What i want to know is, what are the downsides?

  • Looking for a good video editing program for mac or windows that is free? I recorded a song and light show that my friend's band played and that I programed for. I took the video with my iPhone sitting on an elevated box, so it's a still shot of the whole song. I'm looking for a program that I can make the colors a bit richer, make the video a little lighter, and add some kind of filter or effect to the video to make watching the video more interesting before I upload it to social media sites.
