How to turn your iphone s4 into a hotspot for free?

Hi I'm trying to figure out how turn my iPhone 4 (CMD) version 7.1.2 either with or without a jailbroken phone.

Go to "settings">"personal hotspot">flick the switch to the right to turn it "on">type the Wi-Fi password into your computer when it asks you for the password to the source.

I got that far but is there a way to do it for free without having to go to sprint's main web site. If need be jailbrreaking it phone is easy. In fact i has already been broken with GeekSn0w to get Cydia to access tetherme for free. Just trying to figure out the next step to turning it into a free hotspot.

  • Why do I have to turn off and on my Iphone 5 hotspot? My laptop will not detect my Iphone hotspot. If I turn the Iphone hotspot off and then on again, my laptop will detect the connection. How can I avoid having to turn the hotspot off and then on again when I want to connect?
