I can't understand why my speakers aren't working?

I have an apple iPhone and have recently purchased a red pepper waterproof case. Yesterday I had went swimming with my family and I wanted to try out the case. I made sure it was secure so no water could have gotten in it. I took it into the water and it worked perfectly fine. No water was leaking into the case at all. I wanted to try out if the music worked and it did. It sounded really neat. When I got out of the pool, I went to make sure my phone was okay and didn't get wet on the inside. I took off the case, there was no water. I went to turn on the music, and it was lower than ever. I took my towel and tried to see if there was water in the speakers. A dot of water came out of the left speaker. So I'm like okay. My phone works perfectly fine, it's just my speakers that won't work. I don't understand because I put my headphones in and it works perfectly fine. But when I go into my music, the volume totally disappears. Is there anyone who could give me advice on how to fix this?

Just wait a while. Sometimes there's a little bit of water in the speaker which you just have to leave to evaporate. Last time when I was caught in the rain this happened. Because for the iPhone 4/4S, the speakers are a netting and water and get caught there and block the sound from emitting.

Just leave it for a while for the water to evaporate.

Just for your information, the iPhone only has one speaker which is the one of the left, the one of the right is the mic.
