I dropped my iphone 6 in water is it okay?

I dropped my phone in water but took it out right away and it seemed fine except for the speakers arnt working (headphone mode) i didn't turn it off or anything because i didn't know to and i'm starting to worry if its okay or not so far it seems to be normal

Added (1). Okay so I was using it normally and I started to freak out because the home button wasn't working and the off button was weird too So I stuck it in a bag of rice and leaving it overnight hopefully it was

Put it in rice for like, thirty minutes. It will be fine.

  • My iPhone 4 suffered heavy water damage, will it be okay? I went in the pool with it not realizing it was in my pocket. I was in the pool for about 5-10 minutes before I realized it was in my pocket. It was on when I went in the pool but was off when I got out. I now have it sitting in a bowl of rice and I plan on leaving it in there for a week, changing the rice it's in every 24 hours. Does anyone have any insight on this, like if there's any hope of it being okay or is it done for?
  • Is my iPhone gonna be okay now after the water? Ok so march 15th about 75 days ago I dropped my brand new iPhone 4 in a pond. I fell in and my phone was in my pocket. I did the rice and had a blow dryer up to it. The head phone has the red dot as well as the bottom and apple said it was waster damaged. But my phone still works perfect 75 days later. The only thing wrong with it is when in brightness settings if you put it all the way down the screen goes black. Will it be okay now?

I have a screen protector and a case that covers the back of my phone and has a bumper. I immediately wiped up the water and shut it off. When I turned it on again it seemed slightly buggy but immediately got better. So I'm wondering, will anything bad happen to my phone? Oh and the amount of water spilled on it was probably no more than an ounce and was only across the screen.
  • I dropped my Iphone in water - no water damage showing on indicator? Here is the situation. I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet (I hadn't peed yet so all good there). Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
